  1. A person can cure toothache by filling his mouth with water.
    The seventh son or daughter can cure the ring-worm by rubbing his hand to it on two Thrusdays and a Monday. A sty can be cured by touching it with ten gooseberry thorns.
    If you have measels you can cure them by putting garlick to the soles of your feet.
    A wart can be cured by stealing a piece of meat and when it will be rotten the wart will go.
    Wild fire can be cured by writing your name around it.
    The whooping cough can be cured by boiling a magpie and taking three drops of the soup in the morning.
