  1. At the marriages the bride was supposed to wear
    "Something borrowed,
    Something blue,
    Something old, and
    something new."
    After the marriage cermony the married couple walked out of the Chapel, side by side for it is said that if they walked out one after another that the last one out would be the first to die.
    When they came out of the chapel some one would throw rice on them.
    The people would not allow but one married woman at the marriage.
