    Oh! you jolly lads and lassies

    Amhran: Oh! you jolly lads and lassies, give eat to what I sing.
    Im praises of a social in the mountains view hotel.
    Unless that lack of talent compells me to restain.
    The full - events of that joyful night I fully will explain.
    It being on a Sunday evening the weather it being fine,
    The frost and snow abating the stars did brightly shine on our motor cars and bicycles we hurried to the ball.
    Attend by the waitress at the splendid hall.
    The tickets we collected just at half past eight.
    The spacious hall was crowded the many a merithful face,
    The piper in the gallery played a hearty tune,
    and those that cared for gambling went to the billard room.
    The proprieters in the banconly viewed the jovial.
