  1. This game is played in the following way. The dice is a small piece of wood with eight corners about an inch wide. It is a very suitable jame round the fire in the winter time. There is money left down in playing with the dice. On each side of the dice there are three, four, five, and six dots. The dots are painted red. In this piece of wood there is a hole running through the dice and (and) a match through it. It is played on a level table. Each one takes his or her turn. The first one
