- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)(Robber) To cut the heads off your chickens.
(Mother) What did my chickens do to you?
(Robber) They destroyed my garden.
(Mother) Why dident you hunt the dog on them?
(Robber) The dog was too lazy.
(Mother) Why dident you go yourself?
(Robber) The day was too stormy.
(Mother) Well you will not get any of my chickens. Then the robber follows the chickens and the mother tries to save them. But he will get them by force and they continue playing the game until he has each one caught. - In this game the players all join hands and dance around singing - "Here we go round the Mullberry bush, the Mullberry bush, the Mullberry bush. Here we go round the Mullberry bush on a cold and frosty morning."
