  1. Long ago the fairs used to be held in:- Bonnyfinglass, Ballina, Ardnarce, Newtown, Aclare and Bonniconlon.
    The "jobbers" used to go from house to house buying animals a few days before the fair. They would bring what they bought to the fair and have a little profit on them.
    The fair that used to be in Bonnyfinglass is not there now. It was given up because there was not enough animals or jobbers coming to it.
    In Bonniconlon there is only a pig market. It is held every Thursday
