  1. About 400 yards to the east of Iarball, near the village of Gleann Fraoigh, stands Baile na Coille or Wood and Corrigaun.
    In it is situated an ancient fort with a subterranean passage leading in a westerly direction.
    It is surrounded on all sides by hawthorn and hazel and evergreens The outer walls are ten or eleven feet in height.
    In the centre of the fort are four huge flags at the bottom of which the subterranean passage opens
    The walls of the fort are covered with creeping ivy and moss.
