    wedding. They went away on the road until they came to a turn in the road and they saw a man breaking stones with his back. He asked them where they were going and they told him, and he asked them if they would let him go and they said they would and welcome and that if they won her they would have a wedding.
    They went away then till they came to the king's house and the king came out and asked them what did they want and this young man stood up and said he wanted his daughter for marriage. The king went to the grand adviser to see what he would do. The king told him to get a man to go to Dublin as quick as his man and get a letter stamped and to see which would be back first.
    The man who was listening to the grass growing heard the king talking and he said, "We are done."
