    a man at the river who could drink the water as fast as it was coming down the river. The man asked the lad where was he going and he told him he was going to win the king's daughter and that if he won her he would have a wedding. The man asked him if he would let him go and he said he would and welcome.
    They went away on the road again till they met another man and he was blowing the hills into the hollows. He asked them where were they going, and they told him and he asked them if they would let him go and they said they would and welcome and that if they won her they would have a wedding.
    They went away then and they met a man with his ear left on the grass and they asked him what he was doing there, and he said he was listening to the grass growing. He
