There was one tree left in the fort. It is said that the fairies lived in this fort and that they always played round those trees on bright nights. When the trees were cut down the fairies had not any tree to play round and there was one tree left standing for them. - There are three forts in the townland of Creggane. There is a large fort in Henry O'Neill's field Creggane. It is a circle about thirteen(continues on next page)
