    this day because they believed they were giving away their butter.
    There is a woman living in the town-land of Graffy and she was churning for a day but no butter came on the milk. Next day she started again but could not get any butter. After a few hours, her next door neighbours came in and started churning and immediately the butter came on the milk. This woman believes that her neighbours had her butter. The woman's name is Mary Raddy.
    There was another old woman in the town land of Graffy and she was churning for a long time but she did not get any butter. At last an old woman came in and told her to put a burned sod of turf under the churn and when she did so she got the butter.
