A sow is supposed to be seen at this gate (i.e. the gate leading into Mr. Pat. O'Kane's ) land on the road between James Peyton's & John Payton's land, Dromeda Gore.

Tradition has it that at the bush at the head of Martin Peyton's bóithrín in Loobnamock something is to be seen.

It is said there is something to be seen there every night after twelve o'clock. Many people have been frightened at night there on their way home after visiting.

This hill is on the Dromeda Joyce, Clooncleeveragh Road near which Tunny's, Davitt's and Ronley's stack their turf. It is said to b haunted.
