    shoe-makers in my district, Michael Tom and Martin Screeney. He repairs boots and makes clogs. This was not a trade in the family. He injured his foot and his mother got this trade for him. Long ago people did not send their shoes to any shoe-maker to be repaired. The boys or the man of the house repaired them.
