  1. There is a fort in the village of Ummoon and in the parish of Straide and Barony of Gallen. There is another fort in the village of Ballylahan and in the parish of Straide in sight of the other.
    There is another fort in Straide within sight of it and another in the village of Rathrusel. The four of them are round with a mound of earth on top of each and a hole in the middle. the people of this district never heard of anybody that went down. It is said that it was the Tuatha De Danann that built it.
