  1. Old Song - The Harp with Broken Strings

In an Irish cottage by an Irish town

In an Irish cottage by an Irish town
An old man and lassies, as the sun went down,
Wrapped in the mystic that twilight brings,
Gazed on a Harp of Erin that had broken strings,
Why is the old harp Silent"? asked the maiden fair,
Why hangs it with the shadows in the corner fair,
The old man cried, A chuisle little flower of Grainne Ua éil
Bid you ever hear the legent of "Innisfail"
