  1. Once upon a time a young man was going to be hanged. But if any one would give five pounds he would be saved. At this time there lived two brothers. One was very rich and the other poor. On the day the day the young man was going to be hanged, the poor brother sold a cow for five pounds. He was very kind hearted, and he gave the five pound for the young man and so he was not hanged.
    Then the two went to the poor brother’s house. The poor brother’s wife was shocked when her husband had not any money. The young man told the poor brother to go to his rich brother’s field and as he had alot of sheep to take a couple of them and bring them (house) home and to get them ready to be cooked.
