    The nineteenth of January being the date of the year

    The nineteenth of January being the date of the year,
    They were all in McLoughins in the best of good cheer,
    They had three car loads of people, they would bring more if they could,
    To convey that grand marriage of Domino and Spud.

    They went up to the Chapel they knew what to do,
    And Spud she was dressed in her light navy blue;
    They went down on their knees there as fast as they could,
    For Domino was keen to be married to Spud.

    When they came down from the Chapel they were all in good cheer,
    And Domino said come on and I'll buy you some beer.
    They jumped in their cars there as fast as they could,
