  1. About one hundred years ago there lived in this parish a man named Patrick Kelly who used to be playing cards with other men every night.
    One night he won all the money the others had. When he was on his way home he saw a man standing at the door of an old house.
    He asked him to have a game of cards. He went in and when he was about two hours playing he let a card fall.
    His companion told him to pick it up.
