  1. There once lived in Carragolda a man named Thomas Deacy whose wife died when they got married.
    Thomas used to go out visiting every night in the year to the neighbour's houses.
    One night as he was coming home from his visit he had to pass by a fort.
    When he was passing by the fort he saw a big white woman coming towards him. He knew she was his wife the first time he looked at her.
