  1. There once lived in Carragolda on the top of a hill a man named Tom Mulroy.
    One day his wife fell sick and Tom thought she was dying and he went for the doctor to Foxford.
    While he was gone to Foxford his son Pat went for the priest. The priest arrived at the house of the sick woman before the doctor.
    When Tom was on his way home he saw a lot of people dressed in white coming down the mountains. When they came to the road they waited for Tom to come up to them.
