    paid according to the sign of the animal. Some of the animals are marked with paint, tar or raddle, ad the initial of the person's surname who owns the animals is cut in the sheeps' foreheads in order to distinguish them.
    Sometimes a man engages an animal and does not pay for him immediately. He then gives the seller a small sum of money to keep the animal for him. This money is called "Ernist."
