  1. Tramps, beggars and tinkers call to the house from time to time. The same people do not come always. Among the beggars that travel from place to place in this district are Ann Loftus, Tom the thresher and Marty Foody.
    Tinkers also call from house to house. Sometimes they have little things to sell such as carpets, small tables, flowers and delph saucepans and cans. They carry their goods in baskets and wherever they go there is always
