  1. In some parts of the country the people can tell from the sky the kind of weather that is coming. It is said that if the sun goes down red, it is a sign of fine weather. If the moon is on its back, it is a sign of rain, and if there is a halo around it, it is a sign of bad weather. If the starts are very bright it is a sign of frost and if they are dim it is a sign of rain. We also notice that if the wind blows south or south east we shall have
