One must get some resin and melt it in an old saucepan and boil it. When it is melted, it is left in the saucepan to cool. Then it is poured out on a flat stone or board. A small roll is made of it. Each end of the roll is caught and it is rolled up and down in the soft resin. Every time it is rolled, it gets fatter and fatter.

My grand-aunt made one for me.
