    Pigeon
One of the wildest of the birds is a pigeon. He does not leave Ireland at all. The hen builds her nest in the tree tops. She lays white eggs with black spots. She is of a grey colour. The bird sits on the eggs for three weeks.
    Hawk
Another wild bird is a hawk. When she is young she is of a pure white colour. She builds her nest in the treetops also. Her eggs are of the same colour as the pigeon - white eggs with black spots.
