The people of the house went to a wise woman and she told them to give the patient a [?] in the forge water. They did so and the sick person was refreshed and strengthened. It is possible that there were some medicinal qualities in the forge water.
- Rideóga were found in the bog [?] when cutting turf. They are as red as blood and they believe that it was that kind of tree The Cross on which the Lord was crucified was made. They look on this timber the rideóg as holy timber as consequence.
