  1. About two miles from the Mulranney on the road to Ballycroy is Doughill. The Mulranney Ballycroy road separates Doughill from Doughill Point. On the South side of Doughill Point is "Cloch an Capaillín ban". Cloch an capaill weighs about three tons. It is believed that the stone was thrown by a giant who lived in a cave at a man and horse who were walking along the shore and that the horse was buried under the stone.
