    I'm going to leave Sweet Innisfail
    indeed against my will,
    To leave all in this country it puzzles
    my skill;
    I bid adeiu to all my friends, and
    the girl I do adore;
    Adieu, adieu, sweet Ballindoo, and the
    green hill of Doomore.

    The Yankees boast of scenery, their mountains and their people,
    Their lofty hills and valleys, and their
    great extensive lakes;
    Their rivers and great waterfalls, and
    their guests from every shore,
    But Ill leave them there, there's none so rare as the green hill of Doomore.
