  1. The sides of our churn are round. It is ten years old and all the family in the house give a helping-hand with the churning.
    Any person who comes into the house while people are churning usually take a "dreas" that is he helps so that he would not bring the butter away with him.
    If he did'nt help he would have the people's butter along with his own on every churning and they would have none.
    It takes an hour to do the churning
