    My townland, Doomore, is in the parish of Bunninadden and the Barony of Costello. there are eight families in it. There are forty one people in it.Most of the houses are slated. It got its name from the duma. There is one woman over seventy years of age in the district. Her name is Mrs Owen Coen. Ballindoo was once the name of this district. It meant the district of the two dumas, one to the north and the other to the south of it. There are two songs composed
