- Corngullagh, the townland in which I live got its name from a village which was once there and which was much bigger than Bunninadden. The pass-word that was in that village was "be up at the crow of the cock." Later on this townland was called Cournalough. The re is a great stretch of bog in this townland which is a place for game for the poacher. There is quite a number of farmers in this townland with ten or twelve acres of land, rearing cows and calve and tilling the land is their chief occupation(continues on next page)
