    Nearly every townland gets its name from some incident that happened in the district.
    The townland of Clude which I live in got its name from a corner. it is between the townalnds of Esker and Lugdoon.
    Not many families live in the townland of Clude there are only eight houses in it and thirty one people, the majority of the houses are thatched.
