  1. There is another fort in Michael Marren's field of Doocastle, in which many lights are seen, and it is said that on "November's night" the fairies hold a fair in it. One November's night as a man was passing by this fort, he heard the sound of galloping and he also heard talking. He went back the next morning to see what had happened but he couldn't see a trace of anything. Nobody likes to interfere with fairy forts because it is said to be unlucky to do so.
