Some do not comb their hair until after three o'clock. People like to do a lot of work on the farm on this day. They always begin to stick the potatoes on this day- they say this is the luckiest day in the year to set anything.

Every person eats two eggs or more on Easter Sunday. Long ago people used to have potatoes and eggs for breakfast. The old people used to say if you get up early you would see the Sun dancing.

The old people used to say that no one should go near water on Whit Sunday as it is a Contrary day. The same applies to Whit Saturday and Whit Monday. If a person fell asleep and awoke with
