    As Peter sat on a marble stone

    (continued from previous page)
    There are four corners at my bed,
    There are four angels at my head
    Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.
    God bless the bed that I lay on;
    And if I die before I wake
    I ask of God my soul to take.
    The above prayers were recited for Sheila Phillips, Cloontia, Ballaghaderin.
    Prayers given to Sheila by her grandmother who was over 80 years
    Here I enter into the church,
    As Jesus entered the garden,
    And may I be as free from sin,
    As Jesus when he was born.
    Jesus sweet Jesus have mercy on me,
    My heart and my soul I give unto thee,
    Through the five bleeding wounds
    That were nailed to the tree,
    O crucified Jesus have mercy on me.
    The above prayers were given by her mother to Teresa MacGeever, Slieve More, Cloontia, Ballaghaderin. Mother's age between 50-60
