One evening while going into town he saw the old man trying to catch his sheep to dress them and John went in and helped him and he was so pleased that he composed a song about him and he called it any old,
My old "Faunagh" Home
One evening on my bended knewws
Beside my Faunagh home
A gentleman accosted me
A student here from Rome
While kneeling on my bended knees
Dressing my mauky sheep
Aid if the Lord directed him
He came to my relief.
