    For sad sudden happenings you heard "Go bhfóiridh Dia orainn! " "Dia dhá réidhteach! " Go leigheasaighidh Dia an sgéal!
    When anything of a bad kind was heard such prayers as "Dia Eatorainn agus an anachain! ".
    When they heard of an approaching event of a sad kind they usually said o "Nár leigidh Dia é sin!
    If something very sad or queer happened old people on hearing it said, "Is ait an mac saoghal"
