    inside the door. The horse is in a loose box. There is a rack at the corner for fodder and a little (a little) pot in the rack for oats. The horse is clipped in November. The hair is shorn of his breast, legs, and under his body. There are no stories told in the district about famous horses.
    When people are calling hens they always say chuck! chuck! When calling geese they say bathy! bathy! When calling ducks they say wheat! wheat! When calling turkeys they say bee! bee! When a cow runs in a gap they say hersh! hersh! When calling cows they say prigy! prigy! When calling calves they say suck! suck!
    Some people say that it is best to set eggs before sun-set. If they are set later a cock will come out of every egg. Most people put a spot of soot on every hatching egg.
