    They tried to honour a feastday as well as they could. They had some special amusement and food which was not always used.
    Eighty years ago in my grandfathers youth tea was used though it was very scarce.
    The vessels that was were used before cups became common were called noggons. Those noggons were in the shape of small mugs and there was a piece of a stick standing up out of them for a handle. They were made from wood. They were always kept clean and as white as snow.
