In my district there is a garden which they call Garradh na featherman. This garden belonged to an old man who had alittle hut in it. Day by day he went round the district gathering feathers. He made ederdown quilts and cushions and sold them in the town. In this way he made his living. The little hut is not to be seen now for there is a heap of stones in its place. The garden is now called Garradh na featherman. This garden is owned by Patrick Dalton, Raherolish, kilmovee, B'Derreen, Co Mayo.
