- There is a castle in Culclare and it is in Jim Duffy's land. It is called "Caisleán". There are two parts in it. It is said that there was a woman seen in it and that a priest hunted her from the road up to "Caisleán". The people of the house were afraid to light the lamp or open the door at night-time. She was seen during the day as well as the night. My grandmother told me that she often saw her when it was sunset. She was seen there at certain times of the day.
