  1. There was an old man in our village who was a weaver and his wife also spun wool. He got a good deal to do but another man in the village came each night and helped him. The people came a long way to get wool spun and afterwards weaved into whatever they wanted. He weaved blankets, shirts, and other things. He never was idle he always got something to do. His name was Paddy Tully and he lived in a house with his wife and children in a house down from the road. Though he was a long way from the road he got a good deal of work to do.
