(continued from previous page)arrived home a great wedding awaited them and crowds of people from the neighbourhood were invited to it. In those days there were harps and bagpipes and other amusements for the youngsters while the old people enjoyed themselves in singing songs. It was also customary for a crowd of boys to come dressed in straw to the wedding house asking for porter.
These boys were called Clacharachas and each crowd had a captain. When the porter was drank they were ordered to dance and sing and this done they went away satisfied.(no title)

Long ago when a person died all the people of the village gathered to mourn the dead person. They had a strange habit in those times of clapping the dead to heaven saying that if this was done the dead person would never enter heaven.(continues on next page)- Collector
