  1. There were many herbs long ago such as the dandelion, the camomile, the comfry the glais a codladh. The dandelion is used for stomach trouble. The camomile or camomile tea is used for a cough or asthma. The comfry is used for sores. The glais a cocladdh is used for a swollen foot called feloon. It is mixed with unsalted butter.
    The root of a nettle if well boiled is used for the measles. It is also given to young ducks to drink. The wrench grows in the oats and potatoes and it is very harmful to the crop. The docket leaf is used for a scorch of a nettle. It
