  1. There was once a blacksmith and his wife and they were very poor. Every thing was dying on them until one night when they were all in bed a man came to the door and asked the blacksmith to shoe his horse. When he had four shoes made he went putting them on and when he had three shoes he could not get the fourth leg. The horse had only three legs.
    The man then wanted to pay him but the blacksmith would not take any money from him.
    He then went and thanked him saying that he would have luck from
