  1. The name of my village is Brickens and the name of my Parish is Beckan. i live in the Barony of Costello. There are about 20 houses in my village. There are about 80 people in it.
    There are 10 people over 70 years of age in the village. The ruins of the houses have dissappeared. The most of the land is very good. The River Robe flows through it. There is no lake in Brickens. Some of the land is wooded. The young people are going to America since the famine years.
