- In the farm of Patrick Boyle there are ten fields. One of them is called Muneen Ard because it is a very high field. Another is called Gort Fada because it is a very long field. One is called Pairc na Goran because there were a great many cabins built there.Another is called Maura’s field because a woman named Mary owned it.
Another is called Sraci because it is very wet.
Another is called Pairc na Sgeai because there are a great number of thorn bushes growing at the end of it.
Another is called Pairc an Loca because it is very often flooded.
One is called Pairc na Ciupeara because a cooper who lived in Guiltygoreghan used to get timber there. There is a small grove of hazels at the end of it.
Another is called Pairc an Ceardain because the forge is at the end of it.
