Ar an leathanach seo

  1. The birds that are commonly seen in this district are the wren, robin, thrush, blackbird, wagtail, chaffinch, goldfinch, greenlinnet, cuckoo, crow, magpie, swallow, lark, sparrow, seagull, wild duck and wild goose.
    The wren is the smallest bird. She builds her nest in the thatch of an old house or in a hole in a wall. The nest is made with moss and wool. It is in the shape of a ball with a small hole in the side for her to get in and out. She lays from ten to twenty eggs in it.
    The robin builds its nest in a hedge. It is built with the same material as that of the wren but she lays only three or four eggs. It is said when the soldiers were
