  1. Long ago the lands if Ireland were owned by men who were called Landlords and the tenants had to do what they said. If they were not able to pay the rent they were put out on the road and go to their friends and then their lands were divided amongst the neighbours. Nolan Ferral was the Landlord's name who was in Logboy and he lived in a house by himself. He was not very hard on the people and they liked him very well. I heard of a few others and they were cruel men to the tenants.
