  1. Long ago the shops were not so plentiful as they are now. Long ago when the people went to the church they bought Blessed Pictures and Blessed books. Outside the Church there was a shop. Long ago money was not so plentiful as it is now. When the people bought anything if they had no money to pay if they had no money to pay for what they bought they would go a while working to the shopkeeper as payment for the goods they bought.
